yoUR Sport is the interactive toolkit for delivering intra-school and college competition.

Intra-school competition is a vital part of the five-hour offer. For many young people this type of competition is the perfect outlet for the skills and knowledge they gain from PE. It is also an opportunity to play and have fun with their friends and achieve something worthwhile. Alongside high-quality PE and thriving out-of-school hours learning opportunities, intra-school competition will engage young people in fun and meaningful physical activity making a substantial contribution to their school life and five-hour offer.

Target audience:

11 to 16 year olds (Key Stages 3 and 4), but specifically for those aged 14 to 16 (Key Stage 4)

Issues that this programme tackles:

yoUR Sport aims to increase participation rates using a range of modified and alternative sports activities and provide meaningful opportunities for young people to be deployed as leaders.

How is this programme accessed?

Every School Sports Co-ordinator, Partnership Development Manager, FE Sports Co-ordinator and Senior Competition Manager across the country has received the yoUR Sport resource.

As Rugby League is part of the yoUR Sport programme we are keen to support any form of intra-school competition. An ideal opportunity to engage young leaders is to allow them organise and lead on this initiative.
