Newcastle University
Newcastle University are now in their 16th year of Rugby League within the university. Currently they have two men's teams; the 1st Team play in SRL Premier North and the 2nd Team play in SRL North 1 League.
The 2009/2010 season has been particularly successful with the 1st team finishing second in their League and winning the Stan Calvert trophy. In addition the 2nd team won the SRL Plate (Tom Burnham pictured receiving the plate from Matt Jeffery, SRL).
Both teams are now planning on improving on their success during the 2010/2011 season.
All home games are played at the following venue;
Cochrane Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE7 7JX
