13 aside Match Officials Short Course

The Aim of the course:

To be qualified to referee the 13 aside game

Consists of professional discussion 

Attendees would receive the RFL Match Officials Award

Attendees can then join a local Referees Society should they wish to become a Match Official 

Time: 2 hours depending on Rugby League background

Primary Match Officials Course

The Aim of the course:

To be qualified to referee the primary game (mini/mod)Consists of theory study

Concludes with a multiple choice exam

Attendees would receive the RFL Match Officials Award

Attendees can then join a local Referees Society should they wish to become a Match Official 

Time: 2 to 3 hours depending on Rugby League background

13 aside Match Officials Course

The Aim of the course:

To be qualified to referee the 13 aside game 

Consists of theory study

Concludes with a video exam

Attendees would receive the RFL Match Officials Award

Attendees can then join a local Referees Society should they wish to become a Match Official 

Time: 7 to 8 hours depending on Rugby League background

Touch Line Managers Course 

The Aim of the course:

To maintain and enhance the environment in which the game is played at all levels

The Objectives of the course:

No touchline abuse at the club

Improve recruitment and retention of participants

Promote Rugby League’s values

Ensure that everyone enjoys their Rugby League experience at your club

Ensure that your club has a good reputation

The course is free of charge
